Requirements
- Medical Lab Generalist Bachelor's degree in a CLIA approved program (Biology, chemistry, medical science etc.) required.
- Medical Lab Scientist I Bachelor's degree in medical Lab Science or MLS certification required.
- Medical Lab Scientist II MLS/BB certification required.
- Medical Lab Scientist II 2 years in a clinical laboratory setting required.
- Medical Lab Scientist III MLS/BB certification required.
- Medical Lab Scientist III 3 years lab experience with 1-year IRL required.
- Medical Lab Scientist III 2 years lead/charge experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Medical Lab Scientist I Certification as MLS required within 6 months of employment.
- Medical Lab Scientist III SBB certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
- Review and report test results.
- Participate in investigative studies.
- Participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
