Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Lab Technician
About The Position
Franklin General Hospital is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a daytime position. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive healthcare facility that is committed to providing a 5‑star consumer experience and supporting the personal and professional growth of its employees. The position involves a full-time, daytime schedule with shift start times varying between 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. An on-call rotation for evenings and nights is required, as well as approximately one weekend per month and holiday rotation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited laboratory program
- MLT or MLS certification required
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory testing.
- Provide laboratory services.
- Participate in on-call rotation for evenings and nights.
- Provide weekend coverage approximately one weekend per month.
- Participate in holiday rotation.
