About The Position

Valley View is hiring a PRN (as-needed) Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Technician to help cover varying shifts. The role involves receiving or collecting specimens for testing; performing chemical, microscopic, bacteriologic, and other medical laboratory tests and examinations; and operating manual and automated laboratory equipment to analyze specimens. Applicants may be considered at either the Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technician (MLT) level.

The listed hourly pay ranges are $33.99–$49.98 for Medical Technicians and $36.76–$54.06 for Medical Lab Scientists, with an additional 14% PRN differential. Starting wage depends on experience, education, and skill set.

Requirements

• Medical Technician: associate degree, at least one year of experience, and current Medical Technology registration by ASCP or AMT.
• Medical Lab Scientist: bachelor's degree and current Medical Technology registration by ASCP or AMT.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred.
