Medical Lab Scientist II
About The Position

This role involves maintaining expertise and performing technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, general department, and clerical functions in laboratory areas. The position requires maintaining records of performance as defined in SOP manuals. While supervised by the Director and Section Supervisors, the individual can perform all responsibilities without on-site supervision. They are qualified to supervise MLTs as General Supervisor and serve as "Charge Technologist" in the absence of other lab supervisors or MTs. The role may also involve instructing new employees and students.
