Medical Lab Scientist II
About The Position
Vitalant is hiring an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to bring skilled technical support to our training department to mentor and support our Transfusion Services division in Pittsburgh. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a highly regulated environment, has a willingness to learn, and a desire to be a part of a mission-led, values-driven, customer-focused organization. As a Medical Lab Scientist Trainer, you will mentor new employees, conduct Medical Lab Generalist (6 weeks) and Medical Lab Scientist (8 weeks) new hire training, track competency compliance, and take on new projects and create trainings.
Requirements
- MLS/BB certification required.
- 2 years in a clinical laboratory setting required.
Nice To Haves
- SBB certification preferred.
