About The Position
Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab Outreach team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN opportunity, working various shifts at our Baptist Free Standing Emergency Department North location. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results. You will also communicate laboratory results and respond to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers. Additionally, you will collect blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures and utilize computer functions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree Preferred
- Phlebotomy Certification Preferred
Responsibilities
