About The Position
LanguageLine Solutions is seeking dedicated Medical Interpreters to join their growing Onsite Division in Oklahoma City, OK and surrounding areas. This role involves providing interpretation services in healthcare settings to ensure clear communication between patients with limited English proficiency and healthcare providers. The position offers flexibility as an independent contractor, working face-to-face in healthcare facilities on an as-needed basis.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and at least one target language (spoken and understood at a professional level).
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
- Excellent listening, memory retention, and note-taking skills.
- Ability to remain impartial, professional, and composed in sensitive situations.
Nice To Haves
- Proven medical interpreting experience.
- Educational background in languages or interpretation.
Responsibilities
