Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical ICU experience required.
- State Issued RN License.
- Certifications required: BCLS, ACLS & NIHSS (AHA Certifications only).
- Epic experience required.
- Proficient in IV start.
- Experience with telemetry.
- Competency with ventilators.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Manage patients with conditions such as Multisystem Organ Failure, Respiratory Failure, COVID, Sepsis, Post-Cardiac Arrest, Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Liver Failure, and Renal Failure.
- Utilize Continuous Glucose Monitoring for Hyperglycemia.
- Administer care to COVID+ patients with Externalized IV Pumps.
- Operate specialized equipment including NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV Pump, GE Cardiac Monitor, and GE Ventilator.
- Work with a Boom Lift in Each Patient Room.
