About The Position

This is a field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. You will be responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction. You will manage financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management. You will manage company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

Requirements

Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
3-5+ Years of field service experience is desired.
Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography.
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
Must have full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position.
Must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position.
Ability to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.

Responsibilities

Servicing MR Imaging Equipment in the Detroit, MI area.
Installing, servicing, maintaining and modifying Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
