As a Medical Imaging Field Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing Imaging Equipment in the Dayton OH area. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. You are the "Face of Siemens" to the customer. You will support the MR modality initially, with potential to cross train into other modalities in the future. You are flexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required. Advanced notice will be provided for any shift changes. You report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions.

Requirements

Minimum Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
Strong electronics background and computer skills required.
Proficient in the use of service tools and service test equipment.
Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 - Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.).
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography.
Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.
Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of field service experience is desired.
Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Previous experience with the desired Medical Imaging Equipment: MR.
Ability to cross train into other modalities in the future.

Responsibilities

Servicing Imaging Equipment in the Dayton OH area.
Installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
Performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers.
Performing necessary administrative duties timely and accurately.
Participating in an on-call rotation after training and certification.
Meeting all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and continuing to meet those requirements during the course of employment.
