About The Position

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a medical oncologist and hematologist for its Lake Mary clinic, located in Central Florida, 25 minutes from Downtown Orlando. This is a full-time opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing superior patient and community-centered care. The practice is looking for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained general medical oncologist and hematologist. Responsibilities include managing both malignant cancers and benign hematology diagnoses, outpatient clinics, clinical research, chemotherapy supervision, inpatient duties, and consultation services. There is an opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials.

Requirements

• Fellows eligible to apply
• Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
• BC/BE in Hematology/Oncology
• Rotating call and rounding may be required
• Background, drug, and nicotine screens
• All new hires are required to receive various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine, barring an approved exemption.
• Must not smell of smoke while at work.
