The Medical Gas Service Technician – Level III Pump & Compressor Specialist is responsible for the installation, startup, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, and commissioning of medical air, medical vacuum, WAGD, and related medical gas source equipment in hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratories, and healthcare facilities. This position requires current factory certifications on multiple OEM pump and compressor platforms, advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to independently perform field service while ensuring compliance with NFPA 99, ASSE standards, OSHA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and all applicable healthcare codes. In addition to advanced technical service responsibilities, this position serves as a senior field technical resource responsible for mentoring technicians, providing field training, supporting customer education, and promoting best practices for medical gas source equipment reliability and performance.
