About The Position

This position is responsible for the delivery, setup, and servicing of home medical equipment. The technician will ensure proper functioning of equipment and provide patient education. Offers are contingent upon the results of background and driving history.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• One (1) year of home medical equipment experience
• Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills.
• Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Operate vehicle and office equipment
• Occasionally lift/ move up to 80 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Clearly communicate (listen and speak) to patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and service home medical equipment.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Provide patient education on equipment usage.
• Operate a vehicle and office equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients.
