About The Position

TRIMEDX is seeking a Medical Equipment Sanitizer to help ensure medical equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use by healthcare professionals. The role supports hospital operations and infection prevention by sanitizing and preparing equipment, transporting it throughout the hospital, and maintaining inventory. It also involves customer service and coordination with hospital staff, adapting to different areas of a dynamic hospital environment, and entering occupied patient rooms to check equipment quantities. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity in High Point, North Carolina, paying $17 per hour, with full benefits.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Passion for healthcare and patient safety.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and bag medical equipment so it is ready for use.
• Transport equipment quickly and efficiently throughout the hospital.
• Maintain and verify medical equipment inventory levels.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with hospital staff.
• Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment and navigate different areas as needed.
• Enter occupied patient rooms to complete medical equipment quantity checks.
• Support infection prevention and patient safety.
