About The Position
Responsible for determining the financial eligibility for patients without or with limited insurance coverage.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years direct customer service experience.
- Knowledge of medical financial assistance agencies.
- Demonstrated proficiency of record keeping and interviewing.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Given experience and on-the-job training, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of the position within three months of employment date.
Nice To Haves
- Associate degree in Business Administration or Social Services.
- Knowledge of financial eligibility programs, copay assistance programs and drug replacement programs.
- Experience in all Microsoft Office products, Meditech Experience
