About The Position

This position requires the ability to travel onsite, as the work arrangement is hybrid remote with 75% of time onsite and 25% remote. The Medical Dosimetrist is a member of the Radiation Oncology team, who brings expertise and knowledge necessary to generate radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist. The Dosimetrist is an active member of the radiation oncology team and participates in quality assurance and quality improvement activities. The Dosimetrist is expected to work with radiation therapists in patient simulation and ensuring plan deliverability on the treatment machines.

Requirements

Master’s, Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Medical Dosimetry or related Sciences.
CMD certification is required upon eligibility.
2 years of dosimetry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Generate radiation therapy treatment plans in collaboration with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.
Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
Work with radiation therapists in patient simulation.
Ensure plan deliverability on the treatment machines.
