About The Position

A well-established, high-volume multispecialty practice in Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Medical Doctor to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to a diverse population. The role focuses on quality, efficiency, and coordinated care in an outpatient practice.

Requirements

• Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.
• Valid California medical license and DEA certification.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine; Internal Medicine preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency for a diverse patient population.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, such as Epic or eClinicalWorks.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Experience with value-based care and managed care populations, such as Medicare, Medi-Cal, and HMOs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Manage acute and chronic conditions in adults and/or children, depending on specialty focus.
• Collaborate with specialists, nurses, and support staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide preventive care and health education, and promote wellness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines.
