About The Position
Hammocks Veterinary Hospital is seeking an experienced, compassionate Medical Director to lead its veterinary team in Miami, Florida. The hospital has provided full-service veterinary care since 1989, including wellness services, advanced diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and treatment of complex medical conditions. The Medical Director will shape the hospital’s clinical vision, support team development, and promote collaboration and excellence while continuing to provide hands-on patient care. Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are preferred to support communication and engagement with the hospital’s diverse client community.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication, mentorship, and team-building skills.
- Passion for medical excellence, coaching, and hospital growth.

Responsibilities
- Lead and uphold medical quality standards and patient care protocols.
- Mentor associate veterinarians and support staff.
