About The Position

Leach Animal Hospital, a well-established practice in Cape Cod / Mashpee, MA, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Director. This role offers medical autonomy, opportunities for skill expansion, and the support of an experienced team. The hospital has deep roots in veterinary medicine, dating back to 1933, and is a modern small animal hospital with comprehensive diagnostics and surgical capabilities. The Medical Director will play a key role in shaping the medical culture, setting medical standards, mentoring veterinarians, and collaborating with hospital leadership for the continued growth of the practice. This position combines clinical practice with medical leadership, allowing the director to maintain a caseload while supporting other doctors' growth. Leach Animal Hospital offers comprehensive small animal medicine, including soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, in-house laboratory capabilities, preventive care, medical case management, and urgent care for established clients. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements

• US licensed DVM or DVM equivalent
