About The Position
TeamHealth is seeking an experienced emergency medicine physician to lead our team and department as the EM Medical Director at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay, Ohio. Blanchard Valley Hospital Annual ED Volume: 39,000 visits ED Beds: 25 beds with behavioral health and trauma bays Acuity: Medium, 12% admission rate EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation, plus Cleo AI scribe for efficient documentation Coverage: 38 hours of physician, 20 hours of APC coverage Level III Trauma Center with strong surgical support Consistent long-term nursing staff team Excellent specialist support with a wide variety of specialists available on call Medical Director Overview ABEM/AOBEM certification preferred - can accept ABFM with EM experience Must have prior clinical leadership experience in emergency medicine Lead and manage a team of EM physicians and APCs Drive patient experience initiatives and quality improvement efforts Collaborate with hospital leadership and departments to optimize ED operations Impact department growth by supporting physician recruitment, orientation, retention, and professional development Actively engage in departmental and leadership meetings
Requirements
- ABEM/AOBEM certification preferred - can accept ABFM with EM experience
- Must have prior clinical leadership experience in emergency medicine
