About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Site Medical Director to join their team at Northeast Correctional Complex located in Mountain City, Tennessee. The Medical Director provides clinical direction to meet service delivery requirements, directs clinical services for patients, and provides clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director collaborates with the Health Services Administrator (HSA) to ensure efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided, and participates in various committees including Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), Infection Prevention and Control, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested. Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Active, unrestricted TN license
- Active, unrestricted DEA
- Ability to pass credentialing and background check
