About The Position
An established and growing dermatology practice in California is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical oversight and leadership across multiple practice locations throughout the state. This newly created position is available due to continued organizational growth and offers the opportunity to help guide the future of a thriving dermatology group while maintaining a flexible schedule. This role is ideal for a seasoned dermatologist who enjoys mentoring providers, developing clinical excellence and ensuring consistent standards of care across a multi-site organization.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board-Certified Dermatologist
- Minimum of five years of post-training dermatology experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- California medical license (or ability to obtain one)
Nice To Haves
- Demonstrated leadership, mentorship or supervisory experience preferred
- California residency preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical quality, policies, procedures and best practices across multiple locations
- Provide leadership, mentorship and support to physicians and advanced practice providers
- Participate in periodic meetings with clinical staff and leadership teams
- Collaborate on strategic growth initiatives and organizational development
