About The Position
Obran Health is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical oversight for two of their California-based Home Healthcare Agencies. The role ensures medical services are integrated, safe, and compliant with state mandates. This is an administrative and consultative position focused on high-level quality management, not direct primary care. Requirements
- Current, unrestricted California Physician's License (MD or DO)
- Familiarity with California Title 22 and Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs)
- Candidate must maintain their own malpractice insurance.
- Familiarity/experience with Home Healthcare
Responsibilities
- Act as the registered Physician lead in accordance with California Title 22.
- Actively participate in the Quality Management program.
- Attend Quarterly QAPI meetings to review clinical outcomes and patient safety data.
- Conduct occasional chart reviews to ensure documentation meets medical necessity.
- Review and approve clinical protocols and treatment guidelines.
- Provide remote guidance to the Director of Patient Care Services (DPCS) on complex cases.
- Ensure agency compliance with state CLIA California requirements.
- Maintain current, unrestricted California Physician's License (MD or DO).
- Maintain own malpractice insurance.
