About The Position

Heyday Skincare - Williamsburg is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Director to oversee spa services and ensure top standards of care and safety. Responsibilities include supervising medical-grade enhancements like dermaplaning, ensuring compliance with state and local guidelines, and providing timely sign-offs on procedures. Requirements

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with a specialization in dermatology, cosmetic medicine, or a related field.
  • Valid medical license in the NY.
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in dermatology or cosmetic medicine.
  • Proven leadership experience in a clinical or medical director role.
  • Expertise in medical-grade aesthetics treatments, including dermaplaning, chemical peels, and laser treatments.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Board certification in dermatology, plastic surgery, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical oversight and develop treatment guidelines.
  • Ensure all treatments meet the highest medical and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Oversee clinical audits and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Develop and lead education programs and ongoing staff training.
  • Train healthcare providers in advanced services like Botox.
  • Monitor and improve the quality of skincare treatments.
  • Address and resolve clinical issues and client concerns promptly.
  • Oversee medical enhancement and supervise staff administering treatments.
  • Conduct client consultations and maintain detailed treatment records.
  • Align clinical strategies with business objectives in collaboration with senior management.
  • Ensure medical accuracy in marketing and product development.
  • Be present on-site as required to comply with local regulations.
  • Represent Heyday Skincare at industry conferences and professional meetings.
