About The Position

This is a multi-doctor practice with a tenured and highly supportive team. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and committed to high-quality medicine and patient care. It features advanced technology, including ultrasound, cold laser therapy, in-house laboratory, digital dental radiology, and whole-body radiology. A dedicated surgical suite is equipped with cautery, multiparameter monitors, patient warming devices, and an oxygen cage. Separate cat and dog boarding areas are designed for patient comfort and to reduce stress. There is a beautifully maintained astro-turfed outdoor yard for boarders and doggie daycare campers, connected to our retail boutique. The hospital utilizes hands-free radiology focused on safety and efficiency. It fosters a collaborative, team-oriented culture with a strong focus on support, communication, and work/life balance. The practice handles a mixture of wellness and sick patients, routine surgeries, and palliative care. There is no overnight hospitalization. The location is ideal, situated just 7 miles from beautiful Sunset Beach, 15 minutes from North Myrtle Beach, and only an hour from Wilmington, NC, offering the perfect blend of coastal living and convenient access to larger cities. Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in North Carolina or the ability to obtain.
