About The Position

Warwick Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced veterinarian to serve as Medical Director in our long-established small animal practice. This is a true clinical leadership role — our Medical Directors spend over 90% of their time practicing medicine, providing leadership without stepping away from patient care. You’ll guide medical standards, mentor your team, and influence the direction of the hospital while maintaining an active clinical caseload. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who wants to step into leadership while helping grow and shape a well-supported team. Operational responsibilities are shared with an experienced Hospital Manager and CareVet leadership, so your focus remains on medicine and mentorship — not administrative overload. Founded in 1961, Warwick Animal Hospital has built decades-long relationships with clients and staff. This is not a high-volume, high-pressure hospital — you’ll have the time and support to practice medicine thoughtfully while leading effectively. You’ll be stepping into a growing team environment, where your leadership will directly shape the future of the practice while still being supported by an experienced staff and operational team.
