About The Position

We are recruiting a Medical Director for the Rosary Hall Withdrawal Management Unit, scheduled to open in January 2027. Located at the Glick Recovery Campus, Rosary Hall will be a 12-bed medically managed residential treatment program (ASAM Level 3.7). The Glick Recovery Campus is Cuyahoga County’s first 24/7 walk-in behavioral health urgent care and stabilization center, offering people in crisis a safe, welcoming alternative to the emergency department, jail, or the streets. The campus includes a 40-chair crisis receiving center for people experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, a 16-bed voluntary crisis stabilization unit, and the 12-bed Rosary Hall withdrawal management program. The Medical Director will collaborate with the Medical Directors of Crisis Services and Addiction Services to oversee residential substance use disorder care at The Centers. Clinically, the Medical Director will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for acute intoxication, withdrawal, substance use disorders, and co-occurring medical, psychiatric, and cognitive conditions. This role may be combined with additional clinical work in primary care, psychiatry, or outpatient substance use disorder treatment at WinMAT, The Centers’ low-barrier addiction clinic. About the Centers The Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, providing comprehensive care to medically underserved communities. For decades, The Centers has supported people with complex needs through innovative, evidence-based programs, including one of the nation’s oldest single use supply (SSP) programs; low-barrier access to medications for opioid use disorder through our walk-in clinic; an Assertive Community Treatment team; and permanent supportive housing. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD/DO).
Ohio Medical License (or eligibility).
Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or psychiatry. Candidates in emergency medicine or OBGYN will also be considered.
Addiction Psychiatry or Addiction Medicine Board Certification (required).

Responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and direct substance use disorder care within the residential unit
Supervise, train and mentor clinical staff, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
Conduct substance use disorder assessments, prescribe medications, and oversee treatment planning.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
Monitor program outcomes, support quality improvement, and contribute to organizational strategy.
Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies as needed.
