About The Position

Regeneron is seeking a Medical Director to join its Endocrinology team within the Clinical Development Unit. The Medical Director serves as Medical Lead for clinical trials, designing clinical study concepts that lead to trial protocols and overseeing studies in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders. The role calls for a passionate physician scientist who serves as a clinical role model and brings outstanding clinical scientific knowledge to clinical research. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing, science-driven organization developing medicines for serious diseases. Locations are Tarrytown, NY, and Washington, D.C.

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience; equivalent research in academia will be considered.

Nice To Haves

• Board eligibility or board certification in Endocrinology is strongly preferred; relevant experience can be acceptable.
• Experience in rare disease drug development is strongly preferred.
• Previous interactions with regulatory agencies or common technical document (CTD or “dossier”) submission in an ICH region is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Guide the Global Clinical Study Team to deliver high-quality trials on time.
• Oversee medical monitoring of clinical trials to ensure patient safety and adherence to regulatory guidance.
• Lead clinical study and protocol development and present to internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide clinical and scientific leadership for data review, study reports, and publications.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to advance program goals and key deliverables.
• Collaborate with discovery teams to help shape future targets and development opportunities in the field.
