About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring Medical Device Assemblers in Irvine, CA 92614. As a Medical Device Assembler, you will perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical catheters under close supervision in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and quality system requirements. Accurate completion of paper and electronic documentation is essential to maintain full product traceability and support quality investigations. This role involves handling and assembling small components and precision parts, including work under a microscope. Maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude when interacting with internal and external customers is key. You will also adhere to all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols. This is a full-time, contract opportunity with a schedule of 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and verbal directions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Excellent manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small parts and tools.
• Comfortable performing prolonged microscope work.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience as a Medical Device Assembler or Production Assembler preferred.
• Previous cleanroom experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
