About The Position

Pick up blood samples and specimens from doctors' offices and clinics and deliver them to laboratories for testing according to dispatch instructions. The driver may also pick up pharmaceuticals and deliver them to nursing homes and clinics. Occasional on-demand pickups outside the normal route may be required. Organizing deliveries in color-coded bags and appropriate coolers is essential to protect samples and help prevent patients from needing repeat testing. The role requires attention to detail when handling packages that may affect someone's health, flexibility for on-demand routes, and availability to fill in as needed. An available weekday evening route runs Monday through Friday. Weekly settlements depend on the route.

Requirements

• Must live in Southaven, Mississippi, or a surrounding area.
• Valid driver's license.
• Fully functioning smartphone.
• Reliable, fuel-efficient vehicle.
• Ability to differentiate colors for coding purposes.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Professional demeanor and clean appearance.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and able to work as a self-starter.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
