About The Position

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support the credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging process for our health care providers. This position plays an important role in maintaining compliance with complex regulatory standards, payer requirements, and health care compliance processes, including NCQA, CMS, The Joint Commission, and AAAHC standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to manage highly accurate, audit-ready provider files while partnering with hospitals, surgery centers, health plans, and internal teams. This is a hybrid position and requires residency in Washington or Oregon, with the availability to come into the office as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of credentialing experience in a clinic system, hospital, or health plan setting with responsibility for credentialing, hospital appointment and privileging, private and government health plan enrollment.
  • Experience with NCQA and AAAHC guidelines.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Residency in Washington or Oregon.
  • Secure home network with minimum upload (5 mbps) and download speeds (25 mbps).
  • Ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues.
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework preferred.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.
