About The Position

Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems — operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running. This role involves a specific route from El Cajon to San Diego, covering 93 miles on Saturdays. The position is an independent contractor role (1099).

Requirements

• Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred), valid license, active insurance, and a satisfactory driving record (MVR).
• Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• 21+ years old.
• Satisfactory background check and MVR review.

Nice To Haves

• Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
• Handle specimens carefully and maintain proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
• Contact dispatch immediately if any items appear damaged, improperly packaged, or off.
