About The Position

Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems — operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running. This is a 1099 independent contractor position for a specific route: Medical Courier (1099) Chillicothe → Worthington. The route is approximately 148 miles and is scheduled for Saturday from 2:04 PM to 5:15 PM, with an estimated duration of 3 hours. Contractors located within 15 miles of the start point, end point, or anywhere along the route are well-suited for this position.

Requirements

• Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred), valid license, active insurance, satisfactory driving record (MVR)
• Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• 21+ years old
• Satisfactory background check and MVR review

• Delivery, rideshare, or courier experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Run your stops using our driver app — navigation, scheduling, and real-time support built in
• Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app
• Handle specimens carefully and keep proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required)
• Contact dispatch right away if anything looks damaged, improperly packaged, or off
