About The Position
Accurate Courier Services is a national leader in Medical Courier services, partnering with large health networks to deliver life-saving logistics. The Cincinnati hub is growing and seeking dynamic, professional-minded Dispatchers. This role is essential in coordinating the safe and timely delivery of medical specimens, supplies, and documentation across hospitals, clinics, and laboratories.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of Dispatch experience
- Integrity and a commitment to top-notch service
- Quick thinking to assess situations and take action
- Crystal-clear communication, both spoken and written
- Ability to solve problems over the phone
- Flexibility to work overtime if needed
Responsibilities
- Answer driver calls.
- Review orders and assign them to the appropriate driver.
- Ensure drivers stay on time with pickups and deliveries.
- Escalate out of ordinary items to the Operations Manager.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and proactive demeanor in all interactions.
- Be a calming voice for drivers.
- Quickly assess market needs and assign or rearrange assignments based on orders.
- Share ideas for improving processes and customer experience.
- Pitch in on weekend rotations as part of a 365/24/7 company coverage.
