About The Position
Rapid Medical is a tech-forward logistics partner for labs, clinics, and health systems, operating across various states and managing thousands of daily stops that keep healthcare running. This position involves a specific route from Hanover to Glen Burnie, covering 160 miles on Saturdays. The role requires a reliable personal vehicle and a smartphone for using the company's driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support. Contractors will be responsible for photographing pickups/deliveries, logging proof of delivery, and carefully handling specimens while maintaining required temperatures. Immediate communication with dispatch is necessary for any issues with pickups or deliveries.
Requirements
- Personal vehicle (2016+ preferred)
- Valid license
- Active insurance
- Satisfactory driving record (MVR)
- Smartphone (iOS 13+/Android 11+) with reliable data
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs
- 21+ years old
- Satisfactory background check
- Satisfactory MVR review

Responsibilities
- Run stops using the driver app, which includes navigation, scheduling, and real-time support.
- Photograph pickups/deliveries and log proof of delivery through the app.
- Handle specimens carefully and keep proper temperature (room, refrigerated, or frozen as required).
- Contact dispatch right away if anything looks damaged, improperly packaged, or off.
