We're seeking a Medical Coordinator to join our team and play an important role in supporting the health, well-being, and independence of the people we support.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medication Administration Certification
- Experience supporting people with intellectual or developmental disabilities
- Valid New York State driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant experience
- Previous work in human services or healthcare settings
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and attending medical, dental, and specialty appointments
- Maintaining accurate medical information and records
- Monitoring treatments and medications
- Completing required documentation
- Working closely with healthcare providers, team members, and family members as appropriate to support each person's health and well-being
- Promoting independence, community inclusion, and personal growth while ensuring the health and safety of the people we support
