This is an entry-level career in the healthcare/education field. A Medical Coordination Specialist is responsible for providing medical coordination, support, guidance and assistance to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities within a Residential site. In this role, you will play an integral part in enabling people supported at ACLD to have a quality life. You will be an advocate for the people supported in communicating their needs and goals. You will actively promote the health, safety and well-being of the people supported by providing hands-on assistance, mentoring and teaching independent living skills and providing services as directed in their Life Plan.
