About The Position

Busy pain management clinic in South OKC seeks experienced Medical Coding professional for full-time, Monday-Friday employment. The Medical Coder is responsible for conversion of verbal descriptions of diagnosis and procedures contained in the medical record into complete and accurate codes using recognized and adopted classification systems and medical record conventions. The coding classification systems include ICD-10 and CPT. Our office is located in SW OKC with 4 providers and a strong team. Requirements

• Current Coding Certification
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Typing skills required
• Ability to get along with co-workers and patients
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

• Word processing skills preferred

Responsibilities

• Conversion of verbal descriptions of diagnosis and procedures contained in the medical record into complete and accurate codes using recognized and adopted classification systems and medical record conventions.
• Utilizing ICD-10 and CPT coding classification systems.
