Requirements

  • Valid nursing or social work license.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong understanding of workers' compensation rules and laws.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based guidelines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to document accurately in the required software tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant case management certification such as CCM, CDMS, CRC, or COHN.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Managing case management files for injured employees within the workers' compensation framework.
  • Maintaining constant communication with all relevant parties to ensure continuous monitoring of progress.
  • Adhering to evidence-based guidelines.
  • Educating providers and facilitating a smooth return to work process.
  • Documenting in case management software.
  • Developing comprehensive care plans in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
  • Acting as a liaison for injured employees, providing exemplary customer service.
  • Assisting with specialist referrals.
  • Ensuring optimal utilization of our provider network.
  • Coordinating closely with employers and claims adjusters to support effective return-to-work efforts.
