Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Strong typing skills, required
Nice To Haves
- Medical Billing Certification, preferred
Responsibilities
- Enter patient information into the Billing System in a timely and accurate manner
- Verify eligibility with insurance carriers and use established protocols to contact providers to ensure accuracy of information and timely filing
- Navigate insurance websites reading EOBs and answering customer insurance questions
- Follow the Q&A process of unbilled claims and correct errors as needed
- Back-up as Customer Service Rep. Answering questions from inbound patient calls regarding their bills and taking payments.
