About The Position

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona, including residential, outpatient, inpatient, physical health, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing substance use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness. CBI is a premiere non-profit fully integrated healthcare provider. The Medical Billing Analyst will be responsible for the qualification, data analysis, data accuracy, preparing and submitting claims to payers. This position ensures timely and compliant claim submissions according to payer billing requirements. The analyst will also monitor and analyze the quality of data in billing records to ensure compliance with standards, policies, and procedures, initiating corrections as needed. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail and can work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 18 months experience with billing medical claims
  • Minimum 18+ months experience performing healthcare reimbursement, behavioral health insurance/billing or related work
  • Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS and Modifier experience required
  • Valid identification required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree or higher preferred
  • Experience with behavioral health claims preferred
  • Experience working in a remote environment preferred
  • Billing certificate preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the qualification, data analysis, data accuracy, preparing and submitting claims to payers
  • Responsible for timely and compliant claim submissions in accordance to the billing requirements set forth by the payers
  • Responsible for monitoring and analyzing the quality of data reported in billing records to ensure that they are submitted in accordance to standards, policies and procedures
  • Initiate necessary corrections to ensure the quality of the information billed
