Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma.
- Certification: RMA and/or CMA and/or CCMA
- At least four years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting, patient-facing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.
- Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience of at least 1 year.
Nice To Haves
- An associate degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach Medical Assisting courses.
- Provide academic advising to students.
- Assist the program director.
- Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation.
