Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program resulting in a Certificate of Completion or Diploma
• CMA and/or RMA and/or CCMA certifications
• At least three years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a patient facing, clinical setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven

Nice To Haves

• An associate degree
• Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience

Responsibilities

• Teach Medical Assisting courses (typical teaching load is three courses each term, with two or three preparations)
• Provide academic advising to students
• Assist the program director
• Participate in department training, meetings, and graduation
