About The Position
Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant for our Seven Pines office located in Jacksonville, Fl. This opening is a full-time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. The experienced candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients and administering EKGs. Baptist Health’s care for the community spans generations. Responsibilities
- Provides nursing assistance to physicians
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Telephone triage
- Patient education
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Rooming patients
- Administering EKGs
