About The Position

This position requires at a minimum two 8-hour shifts every 6 weeks, with potential to work up to part-time hours when needed and available. Initial training requires a minimum of part-time hours for the first 4-8 weeks. The Family Medicine Practice is part of a Multi-Specialty Clinic, focusing on providing the best patient experience, improving health outcomes, reducing care costs, and managing chronic health conditions and social determinants of health. The office fosters a welcoming atmosphere with strong teamwork and collaboration. Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse primary care and specialty practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• One of the following Required within 120 Days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
