About The Position

This position requires at a minimum two 8-hour shifts every 6 weeks, with potential to work up to part-time hours when needed and available. Initial training requires a minimum of part-time hours for the first 4-8 weeks.

The Family Medicine Practice is part of the Multi-Specialty Clinic, consisting of 5 APPs and 6 MDs. It is a value-based clinic focused on patient experience, improving health outcomes, reducing care costs, and managing chronic conditions and social determinants of health. The office fosters a welcoming atmosphere with strong teamwork and collaboration to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care.

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering diverse primary care and specialty practices, providing opportunities for learning and specialization.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Successful completion of a hands-on competency-based medical assistant training program Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
• One of the following Required within 120 Days: AAMA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), AMT Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), NHA Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), NCCT Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), NAHP Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA)
