About The Position

Clinical Associates is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join its team in Pikesville, Maryland, at the Woodholme Medical Building. The role supports an Internal Medicine healthcare provider and focuses on creating a positive, supportive, nurturing, and professional experience for patients and their families. Duties may include triaging calls, rooming patients, assisting during office visits, and providing follow-up care. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday for 37.5 or more hours per week. Candidates must be flexible to start as early as 7:30 a.m. and work Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m. Candidates selected for an interview must complete a medical skills assessment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current registration or certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work as early as 7:30 a.m. and on Tuesday evenings until 6:00 p.m.
Complete a medical skills assessment if selected for an interview.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of experience in Internal Medicine or Primary Care is preferred.
National registration as a Medical Assistant.
Experience in Primary Care.

Responsibilities

Assist with routine examinations.
Record patient histories and log vital signs.
Obtain and track authorizations and test results.
Enter laboratory and diagnostic test orders.
Schedule appointments, procedures, and imaging.
Provide Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Triage calls, room patients, assist during office visits, and provide follow-up to patients and families.
