About The Position

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant at Med-Care Providers, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare providers and ensuring a smooth patient experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for administrative and clinical tasks to ensure efficient patient care.

Requirements

Bilingual Spanish and English
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.
Proficiency with AdvancedMD EHR, Practice Management, and Billing system (or similar software) is required.
Strong computer and data entry skills.
Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient-focused attitude.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Team-oriented, with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Nice To Haves

Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist patients with a friendly, professional attitude. Ensure patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.
Assist with patient intake, vitals, and preparing patients for examination. Provide direct support during procedures and treatments as needed.
Utilize the AdvancedMD EHR, Practice Management, and Billing system to accurately document patient information, medical history, and updates. Ensure timely and accurate charting.
Handle patient scheduling, coordinate referrals, answer phone calls, and manage patient communications with precision and professionalism.
Work closely with providers, clinical staff, and management to maintain smooth daily operations. Maintain a positive and supportive environment that promotes wellness and effective patient care.
Assist with billing and coding tasks related to patient encounters, ensuring accurate documentation in line with insurance requirements.
