About The Position
Bone & Joint is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join its Orthopedic team. The role works with orthopedic providers in a fast-paced environment to support patient care and improve patients’ lives. Training is thorough, with routine check-ins to support learning. Primary duties include rooming patients, taking vitals and health histories, providing concise reports to the treatment provider, and assisting with the plan of care. Bone & Joint is a physician-owned practice with orthopedic and PM&R providers and offices in Rib Mountain, Wausau, Merrill, Medford, and Plover, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Computer skills.
- Strong organization and customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience or education in Medical Assisting.
Responsibilities
