Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience as a medical assistant in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Ability to travel to our Ventura location twice a week
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving clinical setting
- Flexible availability, including occasional weekends and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or fertility preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with procedures such as IUIs, pap smears, hysteroscopies, and endometrial biopsies
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately
- Track and document lab results; follow up with appropriate clinical staff
- Ensure exam rooms and equipment are clean, stocked, and ready for use
- Support clinical workflow by prepping patient charts, reviewing labs, and assisting during ultrasounds and other procedures
- Provide empathetic care and support to patients before, during, and after procedures
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, physicians, and staff
- Assist with front desk responsibilities, including appointment check-in/out and payment collection when needed
